AusCycling licence
The cycling part of Backroads is sanctioned and insured through AusCycling, so every rider needs a licence. It can be an annual Race Off-Road or Race All Discipline membership; an AusCycling 4-week free trial, but only if you have never held an AusCycling membership before; or a day licence purchased through us during registration, at a small additional cost, covering event day only. All three are checked at rider check-in.
Refund protection
Race Roster's Refund Protection Program lets you register early and cover yourself in case you can't take part. The policy can only be purchased during registration, not afterwards. All refunds are handled by Race Roster's partner for this.
Gift an entry
Know someone you'd like to gift an entry to? Purchase as many gifts as you need during registration, then send them on whenever you're ready.
