The Event Team & our events
Iconic West Australian events hand us their operations because the stakes are high and the margin for error is nil.
With 40,000 participants, HBF Run for a Reason is the largest community sporting event in WA and the fourth largest fun run in Australia. Since its inception in 2010, The Event Team personnel have worked with HBF to develop and grow this event. We're responsible for delivering all operational aspects — approvals and compliance, stakeholders, the course, traffic, contractors and risk, security, medical services, transport, volunteers and workforce. It's a big job and one we love.

One of the world's largest open-water swims — around 3,000 swimmers tackle the 19.7km challenge each February. The Event Team has overseen operational aspects of the start and finish lines for the past 20 years, and provides assistance with event administration and water safety. It's a tough gig having to spend all that time at two of WA's best beaches.

WA's premier ocean swim. Since 1996 the 3.6km event around the Busselton Jetty has grown from a local race to an internationally recognised one, drawing 6,000+ participants across the main swim, the One Mile Swim to Shore, the Kids Swim and Simon's Shortcut.

Two open-water races over two distances from Leighton Beach to Rottnest Island — a 19.7km direct crossing and a 25km ultramarathon. Swim in a team or by yourself, we're there to welcome you at both the Start Line and the Finish Line.

Music, food trucks and stalls celebrating all things Pride, kicking off the annual Pridesfest.
View EventFrom time to time we jump in and help others deliver their event. From the World Transplant Games to Ironman events, Cape to Cape, and the ACC Cross-Country. We also helped Perth win the bid to host the 2030 World Gay Games! If it involves a course, a crowd and a permit, we've probably done one.
