Every event we run is held up by people who give their time to it. Register once and we'll match you to events that suit you.

What you'd actually do

Roles across every event.

You don't need experience. You'll be briefed, fed, kitted out and put somewhere that suits what you're up for.

Aid stations

Water, food and encouragement, usually in the best-looking part of the course. Popular with groups and clubs.

Course marshalling

Keeping participants on course and traffic apart from people. The role with the best view.

Start & finish

Bib check, wave marshalling, medals, timing mats and the finish chute. Loud, busy, brilliant.

Registration & race packs

Handing out packs and answering the same five questions with a straight face. Indoors, usually the day before.

Bump-in & bump-out

Fencing, signage, marquees and gear. For people who'd rather move things than talk to strangers.
